Connect Me In is an outreach initiative of Jewish Federation focused on building and maintaining the Jewish communities outside the city of Vancouver (more than half of the Greater Vancouver Area’s Jewish population). By working together with Jewish organizations in the Regional Communities as well as developing new programs, we are committed to making Jewish life and community accessible to people all across British Columbia.
Did you know that the fastest growing Jewish communities are in Surrey/White Rock, the Tri-Cities and Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows/Langley? These are just some of the places the Connect Me In is focused, connecting community members and developing programs to meet their needs.

What Connect Me In Does
Our goal is to strengthen meaningful Jewish connections by organizing Jewish programs and activities, facilitating grassroots initiatives, partnering with Vancouver-based and local organizations to bring programs to your area, and by administering the Connect Me In grant program to support innovative new initiatives.
Our programs serve individuals, families, youth, seniors and newcomers. Examples of the types of programs we can offer include Shabbat potluck dinners, cultural events, holiday or family celebrations, challah bakes, adult and youth education workshops, summer programs for kids and teens, and more. We are also very proud to include the shinshinim (teen emissaries from Israel) in the programs we offer, which enables us to include an Israel focus in our programming.
We want to work with you to identify opportunities and organize Jewish programs and activities that meet your needs, and that kick-start or enhance Jewish communal life where you live.
Our strength as an entire community depends on our ability to engage Jews wherever they are. Help us expand the number of Jewish activities in your area.
